4 free printables that will wow your guests

About four years ago we renovated and moved into our own home and Iâve loved personalizing it with distinct pieces, making it warm & homey, more personal and more âusâ. We absolutely love having guests over which usually coincides with visits to the mountain, delicious food & great conversation. Itâs important to me that our guests feel at home, free to make coffee for themselves & get comfortable and thereâs no easier way of doing this than prepping the guest room & bathroom for them, adding thoughtful details & fresh linen.
This month is all about bunnies on the blog and itâs no secret how much we love this theme. To me it was the perfect opportunity to create thoughtful details to add to the guest room, which includes a welcome card, water bottle labels, a do not disturb sign & a card for the wifi password so our guests know how special they are to us – all designed by Lieflingkind. Iâm so excited to be sharing these designs with you today & know that youâll love the bunny details as much as we do.
We kept to a cool grey-blue and gold coloring, meaning these free guest room printables will suit most rooms and all of the seasons. These are simple to create, easy to display and perfect for hosting your guests over the upcoming Easter holidays (or any time of the year really). Pop the cards into frames, add a couple of midnight snacks in jars and youâll be a memorable host in no time at all.
Youâll need
- Downloaded guest room design, printed onto A3 cardstock (download them from the original post here)
- Art knife & steel ruler
- 500ml water bottle
- Two 15 x 10cm photo frames in colors of your choice (we recommend gold, white or a wooden texture)
- Glue gun
To make
- Cut out all the printed elements, using the crop marks in the corners as your guides. Be careful not to cut too far past the crop marks.
- Once cut, add the Welcome & Wifi Card to the frames and display on a bookshelf or dresser. Feel free to play around with different sizes/designs for the frames to keep it interesting.
- Add the Water Bottle labels to 500ml bottles using your glue gun & place the bottles on the side tables.
- Cut the Door Hanger Tag out according to the thin grey lines & hang at the back of the door.

DIY Valentines Date Printable – Free download
Every year the question comes up: “What are we going to do for Valentine’s Day?” Maybe you’re the type to plan far in advance or you’re that couple who suddenly realizes that it’s Valentine’s Day TOMORROW and you have no plans. Restaurants get booked out, babysitters can be expensive and, well, maybe you just don’t feel like going out. Your Valentine’s Day can still be great by having a special Valentine’s date night meal at home or packing a little surprise picnic basket. Use the free Valentines date printable available below to add a special touch to your day!
Simply print out the files and fill them in. You will need two A4 pages to print it all. Use a variety of colours if you’d like to add some more colour to the spread.
Valentines Date Printable Menu:
There’s nothing wrong with simply taking your normal meal and packing it up as a picnic in your garden or eating it at your table, but if you’d like some other picnic ideas have a look at the the ones below.
Starters: Crackers and cheese, mini frittatas, crudités with hummus
Mains: Grilled chicken salad, sushi, quiche and salad, stuffed lettuce wraps
Dessert: Chocolate dipped strawberries, fruit salad, chocolate mousse, mini cheesecakes or even a good cup of coffee with these valentines cookies.
Compliment cards
Included in the pack is a set of seven compliment cards. Too often we don’t tell our loved loves how we feel about them or what we enjoy doing with them. Valentine’s Day (along with any other day) is the perfect opportunity to let them know what you think.

Use the wrapper included to help make a box of chocolates, bottle of wine or other small addition fit in with the rest of your date.

Free Printable: Winter Cuddle Weather
Do you love the sound of rain as you fall asleep as much as I do? Like I’ve said before, being warm in a nice comfortable bed or on the couch is just so good. If you can be cuddled up with a duvet, blanket, your significant other, your children or even your pet it is even better! I feel like cool nights should be celebrated (once you are warm that is!). So, in celebration of cuddle weather, why don’t you download this free printable?
There is one problem with this weather though, and that is getting out of bed in the morning. I am pretty far from being a morning person, even on my best days. I regularly have to set more than one alarm and I will still struggle to actually get up! I’m working on it though, even if the progress is slow…
