Be inspired with these gorgeous Christmas table settings.

I have found a lovely variety from really simple rustic settings to a few modern twists on the traditional interpretation. It’s really important to set the tone and wow guests with a lovely table. Try to have a cohesive theme throughout including your garlands and surrounding decor.

Robust woodlands

Play with branches, berries and antlers as a center piece. This gorgeous solid wood table really comes to life by only using a runner in the middle of the table exposing the dark wood that adds depth to the setting.

Break off little branches and tie the name tags around them to echo the greenery.

 Lush greenery

Construct a low center piece of succulents and air plants combined with moss and bark. Bling it up with gold color dipped glasses and plates with gold trim.

Echo the greenery by placing one air plant on each plate or make name cards with a single stem of rosemary for added fragrance.

From the garden

Use elements at your disposal by going into the garden and incorporating branches and blooms. Combined with glassware and candle light it’s the perfect toned down Christmas look.

Animal theme

I simply love this formal table setting with the metallic animals as a quirky twist. You can even combine animals like this ceramic deer head with your place cards.

Monotone with a dash of red

Incorporate natural elements like these wooden tree disks and branches with berries for the ultimate modern twist on the traditional color palette of green and red.

Cut out stars makes lovely name tags and simply peg them to the wine glasses with small craft pegs.

Modern traditional

I love the fresh take on the gingham runner by simply adding a playful pom pom trim. A big must in my books are fabric napkins. This type of celebration asks for nothing less so dress them up with a cinnamon stick and some faux berry twigs.

Light it up!

Use a string of decorative battery operated fairy lights as a center piece. It looks great combined with candles to give off a soft glow that creates a intimate look and feel to your Christmas table.
