It looks like the deer, owl, fox and even wolf have come to play indoors this Autumn. Woodlands creatures are popping up everywhere and we love that decor has gone a bit wild with this theme. You can also just play with faux fur textures if you are of tamed spirit.
I have found some really clever and useful items to incorporate into your interior and also a few inspirational images.
Playful retro
This lovely lounge plays with bold geometric shapes and colors. The woodlands elements were toned down by use of white deer heads and a horse head painting on the back wall.
These too cute animal bowls by Hella Jongerius are simply a must have!

Farmhouse style bedroom
The subtle grey wall makes a lovely backdrop for the branch and scull with an antler installation. It’s further freshened up with crisp black and white bedding.
Shapely chandelier
If you want to go a bit more subtle try this lovely antler chandelier. It’s got a graphic shape that will work well in a modern bedroom.

Soft seating
Combine a shaggy piece of faux fur with a modern chair for the ultimate Scandinavian look.
Blooming antlers
I simply love these original signed fine art photography from Kari Herer on Etsy.com. The contrast of the antlers and the flowers are simply genius and so on trend.
Pretty practical
This horizontal antler coat rack makes for a gorgeous display in a entrance hall and is pretty practical too. It works beautifully with the wooden floor texture.
If you go down to the woods today …
These beautifully framed owl, bear and fox prints from Etsy.com would look great in a nursery. The deer water color print is a more sophisticated take on the subject and could work in any room in your home.
Have fun with this woodlands theme and keep watching the blog for more inspirational posts on the subject.
Happy styling,
