Just like Christmas, we celebrate Easter in the opposite season to the rest of the world. Well, us and everyone else in the Southern Hemisphere that is. Traditionally, Easter is a spring festival, celebrating everything that is new and fresh and budding. That’s why furry bunnies and eggs are associated with Easter. But we go into Easter when leaves are falling, when the colder weather sets in and when – hopefully! – the rainy season starts. That means that the usual festive fair with daffodils and bright spring colours are not going to apply to us! I’ve been digging a bit further and put together my favourite ideas for an Autumn Easter feast. While bunnies and eggs still abound, you might find a few ideas that are more in keeping with the local season. I hope it will inspire you!
Table Decorations for an Autumn Holiday
I find it’s easier to start from the middle and plan your focal first. So here are some ideas for centerpieces for your Easter table.

Make a centerpiece with some pretty natural eggs and pastel succulents. You can even throw in a few patterned decoupage eggs if you like!

I love this one featured in Elle Decor. It’s simple, rustic and has lovely colours! It’s also easy enough to create with whatever you have in the fridge and in the garden.
